Lienzer Dolomiten

Hut hike in the Lienzer Dolomiten – 4 days

Level: T2
Period: Late June – mid September

The Lienz Dolomites are an alpine mountain range located in East Tyrol and Carinthia, Austria. This hut hike will take you through some of the best parts of this area. Despite their name, these mountains are not part of the Dolomite formation but are so named due to their proximity. Since these mountains directly border on the Dolomites, this part of the Gailtal Alps is commonly known as Lienz Dolomites.

This family-friendly hut hike offers manageable distances and elevations, with hiking times adjusted for those hiking with kids.
